Fayette Christian School was started in 1974 under the influence of Denis Howard, pastor of Fayette Bible Church. FCS has strived to offer quality Christian education for Fayette County and the surrounding areas. FCS instructs children K4 through twelfth grade with a faculty of sixteen teachers and six staff and assistants. FCS does not receive any government financial assistance but depends on God's provision through those who have a heart for Christian education.

FCS is looking to provide a quality facility that will meet the needs of FCS, Washington Court House, and Fayette County. In order to continue the excellence in education, we see the benefit that a gymnasium would bring to both our elementary and high school programs. Currently, we have over 20,000 sq. ft. dedicated to the instruction of Children, but we only have 1,000 sq. ft. for athletic purposes. Due to an increase in enrollment, it has become evident of the need for a gymnasium for sports, programs, and other activities.

This will be a great addition not only to our school, but also to our community. To provide space for a high school gym floor, seating for 400 people, a music room, and also storage space, the building size would be 11,000 sq. ft. The projected cost for materials alone is $320,000. There is also a great need of volunteer labor from those able to help in the construction process. In an effort to build a facility of this magnitude, we need your help in raising funds.

The first phase is to get the building under roof. The second phase will involve the construction of a stage, music room, gym floor, bleachers, and restrooms.
